PADI Rescue course

- During the rescue diver course, you learn how to act in a diving emergency.
Some topics addressed are self-sustainability, stress among divers & first-aid in dive-related emergencies. People describe the diver rescue course the most fun course where one learns new skills and apply these skills in scenario settings. It allows you to grow more confidence as a rescue diver.

- Prerequisite to enroll is to be an PADI Advanced OpenWater diver or

equivalent for a recognized 3rd party dive federation.

There is also a junior rescue course available .

 

- The PADI Rescue course contents : 

• 5 theory lessons of theory e-learning

• 5 pool sessions

• 5-6 open water sessions

• a mandatory but separate course is EFR (Emergency First Responder).

Those already certified and hold a valid EFR-provider certification or

equivalent can get an exemption.

 

- After finalizing all parts of the course will receive a digital certification in their personal PADI account

 

- As a rescue diver, you have 2 options.

Go for the highest status as a recreational scuba diver and obtain the rank as

PADI Master Scuba Diver

Or go professional in PADI’s GoPro program and start the PADI Divemaster course.
